The City of Roberts contracts with an outside waste management company for solid waste collection. Residents within city limits are required to have garbage collection.

Thursdays are trash pickup days.

TRASH PICKUP TIPS

  • Keep bins away from obstacles such as trees and power poles
  • Place bins out by 7a.m.
  • Be sure bins are visible
  • Place bins 3 feet from any vehicles
  • Handles face your home
  • Leave space between bins
  • Lids should be closed

Holiday Pickups

Garbage will be picked-up a day late for the following holiday's:

  • New Year's
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas

How do I get another tote?

Call City Hall.

Can I burn leaves or yard debris?

Yes. You do not need a permit. Please call Jefferson County dispatch to report a controlled burn 208-745-9210 ext 7.

Where can I dispose of yard waste?

Private property owners must arrange disposal. Dumping at 700 N is prohibited.

What is the City of Roberts’ biannual community cleanup, and how can I participate?

The City of Roberts’ biannual community cleanup is held twice a year to help keep our neighborhoods clean and safe. Residents can bring household debris, yard waste, and other eligible items to designated drop-off location on the cleanup days. 

When is Community Cleanup?

Dates for the cleanup are announced only in the City’s utility bills, so be sure to check your bill for the next scheduled event.
