NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE #2026-573

CITY OF ROBERTS, IDAHO

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Roberts, Idaho, will hold a public hearing on the 10th day of February, 2026, at 6:50 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 647 North 2872 East, Roberts, Idaho, to consider proposed amendments to the City of Roberts Planning and Zoning Manual by Ordinance No. 2026-573, which amends Ordinance No. 498. The hearing will be conducted in accordance with Idaho Code §67-6509.

The proposed amendments include the following:

The proposed amendments add a new subsection entitled “Public Improvements and Site Infrastructure Requirements” to all zoning districts (R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, C-1, and I-1), requiring sidewalks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, street lighting, and fire hydrants for new development, redevelopment, and subdivisions. Sidewalks and curbs/gutters shall be required in all zoning districts; other improvements shall apply to R-3, R-4, C-1, and I-1 districts, with the City Council able to approve modifications based on lot configuration, topography, or other practical constraints. The amendments also revise Mobile Home Park development standards, increasing the minimum lot area from five (5) acres to fifteen (15) acres and establishing a maximum lot area of twenty (20) acres. Additionally, the amendments adopt age and relocation requirements for manufactured and mobile homes, including limitations on the age of homes permitted to be moved into the City and restrictions on the relocation of older units within the City. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and provide oral or written comments. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk during regular business hours.

 In accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, any person needing assistance to attend said hearing, may call Roberts City Hall at 208-228-3220 to make arrangements to attend at least five (5) days prior to said hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF ROBERTS CITY ORDINANCE #2026-570
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Roberts, Idaho, will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers of the Roberts City Building, 647 North 2872 East, Roberts, Idaho, on January 13, 2026, at 6:45 p.m., to consider the adoption of an ordinance entitled:

“An Ordinance of the City of Roberts Relating to the Regulation of Construction, Repair, and Excavation Within Public Rights-of-Way; Providing for Permits, Insurance Requirements, Safety Standards, Notice, Restoration, and Enforcement; Repealing Conflicting Ordinances; Fee; and Providing for an Effective Date.”

The proposed ordinance regulates construction, repair, and excavation within all public streets, alleys, easements, and rights-of-way within the City and establishes requirements for permits, insurance, safety procedures, notifications, restoration of surfaces, warranties for completed work, and remedies for noncompliance.

All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and provide oral or written comments. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk during regular business hours.
